PSB QUALITY DAY NOVEMBER 30, 1997

 

GTW Associates completed  a study, Standards & Conformance for Productivity & Market Acceptance, for the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board (PSB), Commissioned and Funded by the Asian Productivity Organization

The Project objective was to support the Singapore Productivity & Standards Board (PSB's) strategic thrusts to improve market access and improve quality and productivity of Singapore products and services through standardization. 

A highlight of the assignment was the opportunity to observe PSB's celebration of Quality Day November 30, 1997.  The objective was to build team spirit and demonstrate   the importance of coordination and cooperation in  achieving common goals.

The need for coordination and cooperation among team members was the lesson learned in this exercise with  parachute and ball.

Teams from various PSB departments competed with one another for the honor of best performance.  Here a team passes a hoop from one person to next without touching the hoop with hands.

 
The most challenging contest of the day was to untie the Proverbial Gordian knot without breaking hands.
