ANSI activities related to Intellectual Property Rights in standards setting 2008

GTW Associates prepared this proprietary report  to assist interested parties understand the key role of ANSI in US standards policy deliberations involving Intellectual Property Rights

Questions licensing terms and conditions for patent claims essential to practice a standard and  about copyrights and ownership of standards  are increasingly causing standards developing organizations to review and revise their Intellectual Property Rights policies. ANSI has a unique perspective on the complex policy topic of treatment of Intellectual Property Rights IPR in standards setting. This report was created as a written document and an electronic document file.
